VPK- FREE Pre-K (Fit for five) 4-5
VCA participates in the Free Voluntary Pre-K program which is funded by the State for children who are 4 by the 1st of each year. We prepare our children for Kindergarten utilizing the VPK standards. Focus is placed on fine and gross motor skills, mastership and understanding of key concepts like "more and less", "beside and between" as well as all the subject areas mentioned above. Children age 5-12 may attend our before and after school program. Parents will be assured that their children are in a safe place until pick-up. Our school age program offers homework guidance, working along with teachers to further a child's specific area of interest or talent. Children are also allowed to just relax and unwind at the end of a long day. Outdoor activity areas may be shared by all.
