OUR DIFFERENCE

    We Believe
  • Quality child care is a right – not a privilege
  • Early childhood should be a time of fun, warmth, and security!!
  • Children need a safe, nurturing environment in order to develop to their full potential i.e., emotionally, socially, intellectually, and physically
  • Each child is unique and should be encouraged and challenged to develop at his or her own pace
  • Children need to learn positive ways to resolve conflict
  • Discipline should be positive, not punitive
  • Children learn through play and age appropriate activities
  • Child care professionals should always maintain a sense of humor
Our Typical Day

…revolves around theme discussions and a wide choice of related activities in our [rich] learning centers. Children have the opportunity to explore and discover in our Literacy Center, Dramatic Play Center, and Science, and Art Center – to name a few. Field trips are an integral part of our curriculum as they enrich our children both culturally and socially. Combining learning with fun in our large and small group activities allows our children to express emotions, enhance language and social skills, listening, observing, and exploration skills. Our children are encouraged to practice self help skills such as personal hygiene and dressing themselves. Our curriculum also offers exposure to shapes, colors, numbers, and letters, as well as Spanish as a foreign language.

Our Invitation

We welcome you to take a walking tour of the facility so that you can fully appreciate the scope of what a child experiences here. We encourage you to visit our center and observe our teachers and students in action. We are sure that you will see why Viera Childrens's Academy is “The Place That Makes the Difference.”

Admission Procedure

Age groups divide classrooms. Children will advance according to age and developmental levels. VCA recognizes each child as a unique individual. Parents are requested to complete an intake form and schedule an appointment for a tour prior to admission. Consideration will be given to the age of the child and the parent’s work schedule.
